FFC beginning of 2009… The Band… The Life Group… FFC summer of 2009… The Band… The Life Groups… FFC in 2010…in yet another facility as we are joined by the US Young Adult Team The Band…along with two US Young Adult Team visitors… The Life Groups …this, a record setting, “Friends and Family Outreach” Life Group night held just before Christmas. There are now five separate groups that meet every week. Since the beginning of 2010, almost every Sunday and Wednesday Life Group Meeting, someone has confessed Jesus Christ as their Savior. Just over two years ago, Steve said he had absolutely no idea how to even start a church, let alone, make one grow, especially in this 7 million-people Chinese-speaking metropolis of Hong Kong. So what did we do? This sums it up best… “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35 We just showed all the love we had to the people of Hong Kong. Through Preaching… Prayer… Training… Visiting US Teams…
Outreach…(HK schools permit the presentation of the Gospel) Attending Ministry Events…Reinhardt Bonnke…Kong Hee…Worship Central… Concerts…Delirious…Parachute Band…Tim Hughes… Ice Skating…Bowling…and…Plastic BB Gun Wars (Ooookay)… Picnics…Parties…and Ocean Park… What Defines FFC?... Lots and Lots and Lots of Love, Hugs and Fellowship…and Just Plain Fun…
We Celebrated Our First Mothers’ Day…and had Our First Baptism Service (16 baptized)… We Performed Our First Wedding… And Had Our First Baby…And Baby Dedication… What A Wonderful And Fulfilling Year!...And Now We Look To The Coming Year…And What Will It Hold? One Thing Is For Sure…Many More Beautiful Chinese People…Seemingly Innumerable… We are so thankful to those of you who have sown into Fischer Family Ministries—The Faith Family Church plant has taken root and here is your fruit!!! And this is just the beginning. There are 19 million people within a 30 mile radius of our home. 95 percent of them are unsaved and many have never even heard the Gospel once! We invite you to come to Hong Kong to love and minister to these beautiful people first hand!!! Bring or send a team and none will return home the same, as all who have visited now testify.
