Ever
since the summer of 1979, when Steve went on his first missions trip to Israel, it has been in his heart to take
the Gospel to the nations. He has now traveled for more than 30 years to
numerous nations having participated in street evangelism, medical missions
projects, crusades, mime and drama, work projects, Bible school instruction, ministering
in foreign Christian schools and churches both above and underground.

Sharmin went on her first missions trip in 1985, to Austria and Switzerland
participating in Bible school building projects, evangelism, singing groups.
The next year she went to Singapore and several other Asian and Middle
eastern countries evangelizing children and teens in schools and churches
using puppets and drama and a teen phone-in evangelism ministry.
She has also ministered on the foreign field in music for churches, Bible
schools, and cell groups. She has been traveling to foreign countries for over 24 years. In recent
years she has been teaching in Bible schools and ministering to women
especially on the subject of prayer.
Steve
and Sharmin met in the youth group of their church. Steve was a youth
group leader and Sharmin was in high school. The first memory Steve
recounts of Sharmin occurred at the youth service when Sharmin stood up and
shared of her plans to go on a missions trip to Singapore that summer.
He was impressed with her desire to serve God and go to the foreign fields.
Only two years later, in 1988, they were married in Longmont, Colorado and
shortly moved to Port St. Lucie, Florida.
In
Florida, their two boys were born, Joab and Benaiah. While in Florida, with Sharmin at his side, Steve served as a Youth Pastor
and a Sunday school teacher in their local church.
In 1992,
their family of four moved to Winter Park, Colorado where their two girls were
born, Jasmine and Jael.

In
1996, they felt led in their hearts to move their family of 6 to Tulsa,
Oklahoma, and attend Rhema Bible College. After they graduated
in 1998, they joined Pastors Mark and Janet Brazee and helped them in their
new church, also located in Tulsa. In 1999, Steve and Sharmin
graduated from Mark Brazee's Domata School of Missions. Two years later, Steve accepted a position as the Dean of Mark Brazee's
Domata Ministers Training School located in Manila, Philippines. It
was there that Steve and Sharmin received the direction from God to move to
Hong Kong, China, to pioneer a new work.
In
2001, they moved from Manila, Philippines, to Hong Kong, China, and began the
preparations for Hong Kong Ministers Training School.

In
2003, Hong Kong Ministers Training School was launched and began teaching and
training future ministers and leaders in Hong Kong. HKMTS has some students
who are Pastors of Churches in Mainland China.
In
early 2004, Joab and Naiah began traveling weekly into China, taking in
materials to our Chinese Brothers and Sisters and leading groups of adults
across the border doing the same.

In 2007, Steve & Sharmin planted
Faith Family Christian Church in Hong Kong China.

Steve, Sharmin
and their four children reside in Hong Kong,
China and
continue to grow and expand the ministry to which God has called their whole
family.
